The Truth about Islam

I came across this amazing video thats part of an online course at Harvard on the faith of Islam that I am taking. There are so many ideas, beliefs and lies about the faith of Islam and watching this video gave me such a new found respect and understanding for it.  

It's such important time for the world to question what we commonly accept as the truth and surface level beliefs that we are programmed to believe, and to educate ourselves to grow our understand of the world, of ourselves and the whole point of why we're on this Eath. 

It is VITAL to make our own conclusions about our beliefs, not just blindly follow media and political bias. Islam a beautiful faith in which many of the issues are a matter of interpretation, not scripture, and a reflection of the culture and politics, not the religion itself.

So many of the “problems” we face today, are precisely the opposite of those scripture teachings: the opposite of the point.
